Joseph Grossman was born in Paris, the child of two artist parents prominent in the art nouveau scene. While in Paris, he enrolled at l' École Supérieure des Arts Modernes at only 16 years old, graduating three years later. Joseph relocated to San Francisco in 1980 and has been an avid fine art collector for more than 50 years.
